Yup, you are reading this right! You can create LUTs that you can use on your videos and photos for FREE directly on your phone! When I first learn this feature of the Adobe Capture app (available on iOS and Android) I was incredibly excited. To have the ability to see an inspirational photo, poster, card, etc. and create a Look from that blew me away. How is this possible? With the help of the Adobe Creative Cloud and the Capture app, you can create these LUTs, or Looks, in just a few short clicks.
The Creative Machine – Adobe Capture
The Adobe Capture app isn’t just an app that is meant for creating Looks for photos and video. It actually has many different uses for creatives. Whether you are a photographer, videographer, editor, or graphic designer, this app will surely have tools that you can use. You can create many different things via this app such as audio transcriptions, textures, brushes, identify typefaces and much more. For this tutorial, we will just be concentrating on the Looks feature but feel free to play around with the app and see what great things you can great.
To get started you will first need to download the app on your smartphone. Like I mentioned before it is available on both iOS and Android. Once the app is downloaded just login into your Adobe Creative Cloud account and follow the steps in this video to create your on Looks on the go!
