The Audition feature in Final Cut Pro X that not a lot of editors or video educators talk about. Usually it is a part of a “quick tip” series and not really discussed. Audition is accentually pretty simple but it is something that if used often can save you tons of time editing.
Audition is a simple feature that allows you to quickly switch between clips in your timeline without having to hunt down other video files and replacing them in your timeline. This feature is especially useful when working in-front of clients or other editors and you are unsure of what clips to use in your project.
